Local Nature Partnerships (LNPs)

Wales has a strong track record in supporting local nature initiatives through the work of Local Nature Partnerships (formerly LBAPs). In 2020 we are embarking on an exciting new project in Wales -the LNP Cymru project. By funding additional nature coordinators, the project will build with partners, a nature recovery network across Wales, engaging people, communities, businesses and decision-makers in both practical action and strategic planning for a healthy, resilient and nature-rich Wales.

LNP Cymru project

The LNP Cymru initiative is a 3-year project coordinated by WCVA running until April 2022. Its mission is simple – to reconnect people with nature to ensure it is protected and nurtured now and in the future.

Further details to follow.

LNP Cymru is funded through the Welsh Government Enabling Natural Resources and Well-being (ENRaW) Grant
